| Self Description | | Hey there! I'm a nursing student here in St. Louis. I'm not sure what area of nursing I want to work in, but I'm interested in ICU, pediatrics, hospice, and labor and delivery. When I'm not at school, I'm working as a nanny for four beautiful girls. In the evenings, I volunteer at a Catholic youth group here in STL. Ministry is one of my passions and I love my teens very much. God is the most important thing in my life. I really try to live my life for Him, but I'm definitely not perfect. (Thank Heavens for confession!) :-) I consider myself to be a fun, loving, caring, optimistic, and helpful person. During my free time, I'm most likely hanging out with friends, going to adoration, watching my favorite TV show The Office, going to the movies, outdoors stuff (camping, floating, fishing, soaking up the sun), volunteering with various youth groups and retreats, napping, babysitting, and just relaxing. I'm very social and I love laughing. However, I do enjoy down time where I can just relax, take a nap, or read. (I like to read fiction, so it would be nice to date someone who would balance me out.) As for my future, I do feel called to the married life. I would like to be a mother. I've prayed about being a sister, but I don't think God is calling me in that direction. A quote I really agree with is "The best gift you can give a child is a sibling". (I don't remember who said it)
As far as dating goes, I am more traditional/old fashioned. I would rather be pursued than pursue a man. I don't consider myself to be aggressive or demanding. However, I know how a woman should be treated and I won't settle. I try to be patient and take whatever situations God gives me. |
