| Self Description | | I am not your typical American; not even your typical American Catholic. I don't see the US as my ultimate home. I see myself as a missionary in a 3rd world country, but I guess I'll have to see what God really has in mind for me :)
Currently I am a Nomad; I have not yet found my promised land (my home, where I belong), but I believe where I belong is where I can do the most good, to serve the Lord best. Maybe I'll just travel the world as a Physician assistant or missionary pilot.
I have a Bachelor's in Medical Spanish. I am currently working as a flight attendant.
I am easy-going, laid-back, and like to joke. I enjoy life and talking and listening to and getting to know new people.
I love people, adventure, travel, learning: I want to see the world, learn multiple languages, but most of all serve God through serving others. I want to make a difference in the lives of others, whether as a medical missionary, a missionary pilot, a volunteer in an orphanage, or whatever God wants to do with me.I also love babies, their innocence, their massive potential for anything... they are such an incredible gift; they just need to be nurtured. How they are treated and taken care of when they are young makes such an impact on who or what they become in the future. I lived in Queretaro, Mexico for 5 months in a children's home, helping take care of the girls, and teaching computer class to 4-6 and science to 7-9th grades.I speak Spanish, and am currently learning Russian. I'm also interested in learning Chinese and Japanese, maybe French. I don't really like the TV. I prefer real life. I do enjoy a good medical show here or there, and Family Guy or the Simpsons, but rarely actually turn on the TV myself. |
