| Self Description | | I have been described by others as sweet, honest, and easy to talk to. I am open and trusting, and I live by the "Golden Rule" which best fits Jesus' instructions to love one another.
I have many interests ranging from the Big Sky Cum Christo, to football, playing the trumpet and string bass to hiking. I love to be outdoors, although my bad knees currently have me grounded.
I love sports and will stop everything for a Chicago Cubs baseball game, an Oklahoma Sooners football or basketball game, a Dallas or Denver football game, or a Detroit or Colorado hockey game, but I am willing to cheer for other teams as well. I tend to do the most yelling for the Sooners.
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors in Environmental Science. Now, wait, I am not a tree-hugging "Enviro-Nazi". My leanings tend to be further right of where most environmental people are.
I have three "children" of the four-footed variety, and we have been through quite a bit together. Bobby, Abbey and Littlest are my cats, and they are my buddies. Each one of them has their own story and their own special place in my heart. I also owe alot to them. That story I will save for later...I have to save some mystery!
I enjoy music. I play the string bass and I am learning the trumpet. My goal is to play in the Billings Community Band by this fall. I was principal bass in the Billings Symphony a long time ago. I am very out of practice, and an elbow injury may prohibit me from playing again. If I do get it back, I'll probably just play in the Community Orchestra. I can also play the piano, but uit has been a long time since I have had piano lessons!!
I love to be outdoors, especially in the mountains. I love to see the wildlife, and the birds, and all. But, as I said, my bummed knees have me grounded for now.
I love to laugh and have fun. If you can't laugh at yourself from time to time, then you are just wrapped too tight. Smiling and laughing are important to me. Trust and respect are higher on the priority list, but laughiung and being happy ranks right up there.
I am looking for a man that can laugh at himself and find humor in things. I also would like a sensitive man, one who would be OK sitting on the couch watching a movie and rubbing my knee. I think there is room in a relationship for the man and the woman to nurture each other, it is not a one-way street. I would like a man that is not afraid of the kitchen, that might even cook dinner with me.
I think that trust and respect is very important in a relationship, in fact, I think it is the cornerstone. I have seen too many relationships fall apart bacause of lack of trust and respect. You can count on that from me, unless, of course, you give me a reason not to trust or respect you. I love to share things, and I would love it if we could go to Mass together and share our Catholic beliefs and our faith in God. My religion is very important to me, that is why I chose this site.
