Hey my name is Kristi. The first thing you'll get to know about me is that I'm super active. I work full time, I sing in the Gospel Choir at my Church as well as my own band, I'm a Big Sister through Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters and I recently took up Kung Fu a few nights a week. When I'm not running around, I like to hang at the house and watch a show, work on my poetry or take my pup to the dog park. I joke that my default setting is singing and dancing...if nothing else is happening I'm usually doing one or the other. I can't turn down a Karaoke night and love when I get a chance to go Swing or Salsa dancing. I am an honest person, have a knack for sarcasm, and currently my favorite color is Green.

I like surprises, so I really appreciate when a guy plans the date and I get to go on a mini-adventure. Even if it's just dinner and walking around third street, sometimes it's just fun not knowing what's gonna happen.

Zip-lining! I had planned to do it Costa Rica recently, but the timing didn't work out...the jungle hike was fun too...but still have to give zip-lining a try :)

I've always felt like if I could just do music (singing/songwriting) and youth ministry I would be happy. I'm already working in youth ministry, so my current goal is to try to make a living off my creative efforts.

The way I describe it to my friends is an Alpha Male who isn't a jerk. (does that make sense?) I'm a pretty strong person and want a man who can take charge in a situation and lead me, but not try to dominate. I have pretty traditional values and views of a relationship. I want to be able to pal around with a guy and be goofy, but I also need someone who is strong that I can trust. Here's a snip from a poem I wrote talking about the kind of guy I look for, "...Is there a man who will stand and be strong. Speak right, confront the wrong. Fearing God and loving all. A man who is steady, secure in his place. A man unafraid to show his true face..."
