| Self Description | | I'm on a new journey in life. I'm a pilgrim looking for fellow pilgrims trying to find their way and have marvelous adventures on the way.
I'm always learning..I HAVE NOT arrived...and the older I get the less I know...but I know enough to know a good person when I meet one...now if I just had the body I had when I was 35 ...LOL...well...I AM working on it...the last seven years of my life were a real Dark Night of the Soul...whew! but Hark! There is Light and Hope and I'm grabbing with both fists, my teeth and all my toes!
People say I'm funny and that I should quit being a nurse and become a massage therapist...I don't know why I threw that in...I just thought of that...anyway...I can make pain go away...it's a gift from God...that's all. I know one thing, I"m pretty brave and persevering and I have certainly learned humility and how to APPRECIATE and be GRATEFUL for good things...oh...and I was born without the shopping gene that most women have...that's why I have more books than I do fashionable clothes. I don't like to shop much. Hope that's not a deal breaker. I'll pay for it, I just don't want to go get it ...unless it's online or in a Barnes and Noble..LOL |
