| Self Description | | I was raised Southern Baptist, converted to Catholicism in 1976 and am very tolerant of other faiths. I am active in the Legion of Mary. Majored in fine arts in college. Worked full-time in ecumenical lay ministry to mentally retarded adults for several years, then became a nationwide attorney recruiter in 1985. I volunteered as a guardian ad litem in dependency court in Los Angeles for 8 years. I have one married son but no grandchildren. I was the sole caregiver for my grandfather who raised me from age 4; he died October '07 at age 99. |
